Default What do u guys drive in the winter?

I finally bought my S about 2 months ago. i waited 3 years to get it and i plan on putting it away for the winter soon. I have about 3k to spend on a winter beater. i really want something with 4wd and i was thinking about a jeep wrangler. what do u guys drive, or do u have any suggestions. thanks

90 Cherokee here. Needs new rubber for winter but picked it up for 500 bucks...............dropped another 1,100 into it to get it running right. Had to drop another ~500 in so far into stuff that has broken in the mean time(12 year old stuff)............so about a year later ~2,000 later and got a pretty good running truck.

This is all well knowing that the truck was going to need work and that there was a shop that would make it all work and be safe for me to drive.

My 740i Sport (sucks to be me ). Have to take off the M parrallels however. Traction control works well with a set of snows.

1990 Mazda B2600i 4x4 bought last year for 2.5k put about $500-1000 into making it just right. Perfect winter beater and all round the house workhorse!

Some type of PU can't do you wrong! Great cargo capacity too... Any type of Nissan or Mazda is pretty affordable and reliable.

I drive a 94 toyota 4x4 p'up. Had it for 6 years and highly recommend them.
