I have a wireless mouse. I think it's acting weird. As I click around I sometimes get a small window of whatever site I'm on.

As I try to click to get rid of it, the next thing I know, it appears it opens the browser again with that one window...What's up with that?

I've had the same mouse for well over a year and this is a new issue. Low battery indicator is not on.

 

1- Change the battery or charge if rechargeable, even if the battery indicator is not on.

2- Try a wired mouse and see if it works ok, if not I would run a complete virus scan.

3- Ask a cat for help.

 

1. Did change batteries...seems a bit better as the mouse was also "jerky."

2. I will try the wired mouse, and I just ran a virus scan today, all was well.

3. I'll bring my cat to work tomorrow.
