Default What's for dinner?

So what's for dinner folks? After being cold all day today, I could not wait to get home and crank up the heat. I'm going to splurge and run the heat a degree or two warmer tonight.

Rick did a lot of cooking yesterday. Beef stew is heating up now. Good meal for a cold night.

What's on your menu?

Likely turkey sandwich and turkey soup. Like a good Asian person nothing has been wasted and I ended up making enough turkey soup using the carcass to feed a small army.

Is that Turkey from Thanksgiving? Hope not!

If so Ah, that turkey in the turkey soup, and the turkey for the turkey sandwich, has gone beyond the official 7 day leftover allowance.

Don't come crying to me if you start

Nah, I think i posted this in the random thread, but the local supermarket had "Fresh" Butterball turkey's on clearance, 19 cents/lb, expiration date on them was Friday. I bought a 21 pound bird for 3.99 on Wednesday, cooked it, then when the carcass was picked clean of meat I used the bones and some ugly bits to make stock on Friday. Refrigerated the stock anyway as to skim off the fat and Sunday I used that stock and about 50% of the remaining turkey meat to make soup. I'm debating if i should freeze the soup or chuck it, but I've never had good luck with frozen soup, everything sort of just turns to mush when it's re-heated.

I'm really starting to get sick of turkey now
