Yeah...some of them may be POS's..but at some I wouldn't laugh cause they may be quick, I guess u wouldn't know till the race is over.
so
Personally, i didnt buy my S to race people. I loved the look and affordability of the car since day one. I just like the fact that if i need that extra power, its there when i seldom drive aggressive. These days its too dangerous to race on the street. Too many kids get killed.

THANK YOU SWEET JESUS, MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED

Steve, I am not going anywhere anytime soon.
Sorry to let you know that Jesus has not answered your prayers!
That things just SCREAMS ...
"Officer, please pull me over. I'm such a dumb a$$, I deserve a fine just for being Fugly"
"My wing is bigger then my whole car and I'll bet with a tail wind I can get this POS up to 45 mph if I'm headed down hill"
Idiot!

Haha, I think I saw that POS this weekend in Keene while visiting family.
Oh man the wing, stripes, and primer kit combo really bring that car together.
lol
But yeah seriously it seems this area is getting more rice than usual

Forgive me... I'm bored. Here it is Memorial Day, one of THE FINEST holidays to start the Summer and take time to remember our veterans...
My kid is sick. The wife is off to work and I am here on the Internet.
WHAT exactly is a "ricer"? I pry for a tighter definition.
I've seen different levels of alledged "ricing".
One, I owned a 1986 Honda V-65 Magna from the time it was new until the time my kid was born in 1997. Loved it! Hated to sell it. AND I sold it to a dude that didn't understand the zen of motorcycle mainteneance. I imagine now that my once beloved machine is run to the ground by that bozo. But he gave me my full asking price. Was I a ricer?
I now have a fantastic Honda S2000... am I a ricer again?
I have seen the Japanese Spoon team at the track... they are pedigreed ricers - but they command respect on the track. Very fast, and very talented drivers.
What exactly is the POS sightings throughout the New England area? I wouldn't call them "ricers", per-se, as much as I would classify those abominations of street and auto performance attempts as a straight-out Pieces Of Sh!T!. I should imagine that even the "ricers" would cringe upon the possible association with the photographed POS that started this thread.
Is the POS a result of computer games? NASCAR? "Pimp My Ride"?
In my day... Here goes the old man crap... A "ricer" was an enthusiast of Japanese engineering. While the others are riding around in the American made all-the-way, some of us saw the beauty and splendid engineering, and quality, of the Japanese machines. (And by the way... it was our newest American quality models that helped the Japanese reach such high levels of quality.)
Just imagine my going to a Harley Davidson rally in my V65... as I did! Oh! I was NOT welcomed there! But my Honda could take every one of them in all performance categories. The V-65 had excellent balance and tremendous acceleration - and fantastic handling.
This Honda S2000 is a fantastic fun machine. It isn't as fast as almost all American muscle cars, but it can perform well in the turns. With a few modifications, it can keep up with BMW's M3, and out of the box, it can smoke a Porshe Boxter.
Are we ricers?
I don't believe that the photographed ride is a ricer, as much as it is a straight-up POS.

BTW, I wouldn't mind the wing... if it worked to provide more down-force in high-speed turns during my HPDEs. The only difference between me and the POS is that I'd have a spare trunk and wing for the track and keep the S elegant for daily driving.

Laughter is essential. But not so much at the POSs. We all do stupid sh!T. Especially when we are pups.
