WTF were you thinking!
Get ready for the red and yellow to go with your car! That thing is a piece of work! Esp. the yellow rims(spray paint?) and mud flaps! I'm surpised your yellow S doesn't have any red flaps!
What did the windshield banner say? "Got Rice?" LOL!
I have yet to Dyno with the NOS. I plan on doing it when the weather breaks, I will post something. As for the gages, I HAD oil pressure and boost, because I was going to go turbo this spring. I also had an A/F gage in my dash near my NOS controls. What I am going to do next week is put the A/F gage up into the pod with the fuel gage. I am going to ditch the boost gage and get a nitrous gage to put near the nitrous controls on my dash. Makes more sense to me,
What gears is the NOS useable in? I imagine if you sprayed in 1st or 2nd you would hit the rev limiter pretty quick.
Do you arm the system and then press a button to spray a 75shot, or do you arm the system and it sprays whenever "rules" are met(sprays only when RPM are 5000-7500 and throttle is wide open and switch is armed)?
I have it set up so that it will only spray if the switch is armed, and the throttle is fully depressed. I am trying to find a controller that works on distributorless ignition that will not allow NOS below say 3500 or above 8500 RPMs. Until then though, I usualy go through 1st, then flip the switch up, and go through gears normaly being carefull not to redline so I shift early. I also have a button in a custom knob that i built which can be used if desired, but will not stop operation if not pluged in.
Yeah, me too. From what I have heard, the HP numbers are pretty close. We will see, and we can also have fun doing a few highway runs to test our theories
Only down side to the bottle is that where your power from the charger is always there, mine isn't. But I can say it does make quite the difference. I cant wait to find out. You have gears though right? Might complicate our trials...
