This blew up on my 'regular' forum. Not only did they find this kids myspace, but also his facebook. There were some guesses between 'late for work', 'drunk', and 'suicide'.

Background for those that don't know...

Post from girl on FB found saying 'If anyone talks to him, tell him I'm so sorry'
News story gets updated with driver being found at 6AM with (cannot publish name of in newspaper, yet, it's already been found on the interweb... so we already know it) 15year old girl, single unopened beer, trace amts of pot. Not under influence of alcohol or drugs. 19 year old kid gets arrested. 6:54 kid is released (as is customary, they say).
7:15... this video.

So, with the 'more details' conclusions are either
a) kid tried to off himself for being caught with underage girl instead of facing music from both sets of parents (could be he was told to stay away from her, whatever.... lots of things can be misconstrued with that age difference and pot/alcohol, even tho it may not have been used)
b) wasn't a suicide, but was late for work for which if he were late for one more time would be fired, sees cop while passing people, reacted 'bad' and whoopsie.

Option A is my guess also. Why? No brakes until he's in the air, at which hitting the abutment would have pushed his body forward.

If you rewatch, the ligher colored 'thing' that goes across the lanes into the breakdown lane in front of the silver mustang where he has to brake? That's the driver. There's a video posted by the driver of the mustang with his comments.

Dave that is a funny gif! This kid is now legendary for being an idiot!

The ironic thing is that a buttwipe like this kid survives a crash like that while some decent mother of four will be killed in a fender bender. Darwin was definitely sleeping this time.

Thank God for the overpass being there. If not, I bet he would have ended up into oncoming traffic and it would have been a lot worse.

 

The kid btw has now been upgraded to serious from critical. For something ironic go see the guys music playlist on myspace nothing but dark and death in all the song titles.
