Default Who can find me a digital camera

I want to get our granddaughter a digital camera for Xmas. They have one for kids, but I actually think she is old enough for a more grown up one. She often takes pictures with my camera. I'd like it to have a viewfinder, and not just a screen.

She is only a seven, but a mature seven, however I know it is likely that this camera will get dropped or lost, so I don't want to spend a ton of money on it.

My typing/surfing is still being done left handed, which sux, so I figure one of you internet junkies might like a purpose in life.

Thanks for the help.

You're affluent Lainey. Get her a Canon XSi, she might as well start with something relatively decent.

as cheap as those cameras are, they will most likely break after one drop

Saw some if those earlier....what about a "real" one? Any black Friday deals?

Thanks.

I'm a thing of the past. I like having a view finder...

Most point and shoot cameras would break after one drop... even nice ones. But at least a 7 yo is closer to the ground.
