Dave, no matter what girls have told you, size does matter.

I really believe that no matter what is offered by a company other than apple, you will dismiss it. Having that reputation doesn't give your arguments regarding devices any credibility.
I just fooled with a demo X at the store a few minutes ago. Unless you have hands the size of a four year old and the pants to match that four year old, there is no way the phone can't be used one handed and fit easily in the pocket. It's light as a feather to boot.
I'm still not getting one until they at least get it rooted which will be within a few months probably. Then I'll make the decision based on 1) what Moto has done with FroYo and 2) what the Droid 2 and Droid Pro are going to be offering when they drop this year.
the only thing I'm suspicious on is going to be the battery.
verizon quotes it as:
"standard battery"
moto specs say
* BATTERY TYPE
1540 mAh Li Ion
* STANDBY TIME3
up to 220 hrs.
so i'm curious to see what it is.
In reality I'd even accept a fat hump on the back to double the battery life.
but dave is right, too large is never good, been listening to it all my life...

Jerry, Moto says they will offer a larger battery that adds 1mm of thickness.
Also, watch the company Seidio. They make all kinda phone stuff. There is some crazy 2400mah battery for the droid.

Like i said I deal with em all week, my finger is on the pulse of what REALLY sells and sorry it aint droids truly they are weak sellers.

But i know you wont believe that, but than again you are the droid demographic and a fanboi so no surprise.
But really I dont care what sells as long as it sells

Yeah but not in Maine. Everything is different there.
Those articles I linked about the high volume of android devices being activated and the market share shifting mean nothing... a guy selling phones at walmart says so.
