Why don
as I look around to the other communities i see that most have at least two or even three COs but we in New England have none..
Why is this? I am sure New England ranks up there with members & posts as any other commsinity
I would like to nominate George & Bill as COs

I am the CO for the NE Forum
The other groups don't have a formal organization as NES2KO.
NES2KO does have a BOD which George is a part of, and I'm trying to get Bill on board with that as well... just waiting for his decision.
What does a typical CO do for S2ki? Umm... watch their forum for spam? Delete 1 post every two or three months that you ask for.
The NES2KO group does a lot more than "most" other regional groups.

The New England forum is led by g_s2k. I'm not sure why Glenn is listed as a site moderator rather than a community organizer, Steve, but as far as s2ki's concerned he's the forum leader.

Hey Steve, thanks for the nomination. I don't know about actually maintaining the site here but other aspects as far as organizing drives. I would be more than happy to help out. Wine Drive of CT (Summer) and Mohawk Trail Drive (Spring/Fall).
I was actually contemplating a little CT regional drive to get some of the CT folks involved. I know there are a lot of CT lurkers here and most can't get out for a full day of driving.
Here's a little taste for the CT folks. Of course any other NE members are welcome
This type of run can be done at a moments itch. Meet up at a noon spot for lunch then an afternoon drive. Could stop for some afternoon desert then split for your dinner at home with the family.

I can see where other Communities have 2 or 3 moderators/organizers.
(Florida has 4 & S. Florida has 3)
Glenn seems to keep things well covered, so we probably don't NEED another person with Mod Powers.
Although it might be good to have a back up.
Bill, George and Steve seems to be the ones that organize
most and would have a need to "sticky" a thread, but then again Glenn seems to have it always covered.
I think it might be Glenn's call really. Do you think you need or would like help?

Why do I have Site Mod instead of CO? It's the ranking system in the S2ki Site Forums.
Admins -> Site Mods -> Forum Mods -> CO's
The higher the level the more they have access to the site's functions. For me to be a Site Mod, I can't have the CO title to do my Site Mod duties.
As for being the CO for NE... I haven't found the need for additional help to run this forum. It's very tame compared to the others, thanks to all of you.
But... who knows... let's see what happens.
