Yeah, I checked out Nstar. They arre only offering rebates for fridges and a/c units right now. They recently had one for washers, but that has passed and I dodn't see anything for dryers at all.

My next house mod is a new dryer next week. Ours is making some terrible noises right now. It's kinda old as is, so I am not going to bother getting it fixed. House modding is fun too.
Buying a new dryer is fun?? This ranks right up there with buying toothpaste to me. Sure... it's something I need, but it certainly isn't too exciting buying it.

You have to get into it Erick!!! Your home is your biggest investment, enjoy modding it!!!

I think I am going to jump on a Maytag gas unit at BB for about $400. We already have a nice Maytag washer and have had 0 problems with it plus it will match better

gas is a better choice than electric. much less costly to operate.

Yeah, gas we have a gas dryer. It is a bit more initially, but saves in the long run. Plus they say it dries faster
