Default Winter Storage

Anybody have any recommendations for winter storage when the time comes? I used my car a bit last winter, but I don't wanna do it again. I'm looking for a cheap truck now so it won't be last minute. I'd like to put the S away maybe by next month, or start of Dec.

I'm looking for indoor storage, heated a plus, but not needed. Whether it be a business, or extra space in your garage (I remember seeing the car wash pics, Bill, you have a nice garage ) please chime in with any info

Will, I think club member Tbalon has storage space up in NH. Maybe Glenn or Tom will chime in. Other members, like Jeff, used to rent out one of those storage boxes at the storage facilities. I think you can even get one big enough for two Ss and split the cost with another club member. I may be storing my S off property this winter. I'll need the space in my garage to work on the Austin Healey.

Hey George, does the Midget need any parts? I may have some Sprite parts that will fit it.

Wow really!!! Thanks Bill. Well last I checked the engine ran fine no leaks and the electrical was pretty sound. Although you know how the hydraulic clutch/brake works on these cars. I might need to rebuild the units. I'll let you know.

YOU WHORES !!!
This thread is about storing our S, not about restoring a Austin Midget thingy!
Good luck Y2SK2. I am paying $140 a month for a garage. Granted its pretty big (10x20") has enough room for tools, my extra wheels etc. But not heated. He originally was asking $185 a month!
But if i can find cheaper i will go for it. Hard to find a decent garage in this area. But she will be off the road for the winter, even if she had to sit in the driveway i would never drive her in our winter rain/snow/salt!

I talked to TBalon ( Tom ) and he said he is willing to store cars this winter. This is where my S sat last winter and will again this winter. It is fully heated and has air filtration to minimize the dust . It is at Toms dealership were she will sleep with other vintage and sports cars. There is even video security.

Cost $150 a month ( i will throw in my personal security for free , as I am there almost everyday working on something )

just regular storage 10x15 storage units are $100 a month in Manchester, and don't offer half the security .

Mine here is $140 plus tax a Month. Not heated, but very secure and big at 10 x 20". Also has security cameras showing anyone and everyone entering and leaving the building. Plus 24/7 access
I still havent found anything like this for less money. I really need to get a condo with a garage soon!
