Its gonna be a while up here. I've got a pile of snow about 6 feet high in my driveway. Its been snowing several inches every day. The S's are still in hibernation.

Sitting at Granite State Dyno. Replacing my s2000 driver side rear caliper. Found out it ate my pads....gotta replace those too. Cheap replacements for now to get me going. Gonna purchase new rear pads and rotors again (did all corner brake replacements and flush last year). Le sigh...

Good news is I can open my hood. The latch wouldn't spring open and was gunked up.

Got home fine but I miss having good brake bite. I figure I when I am due for an oil change I will get new rear rotors and pads.

The guys at the shop took care of it. They used PB Blaster and some lube. It worked for the day. I haven't tried to open it up again yet so But at least I filled my washer fluid tank. No more wiping with a paper towel to get the salt grime off. Love daily drivers. If it sticks again, they will take apart the latch and do a full clean and re-grease.

Had that happen a few years back. Replaced my rear pads and rotors and turns out one of the rear calipers was stuck. I got about 5 miles away and could just smell burning. Put my hand out and could feel the heat radiating from the wheel. Got back, and had to wait to get the lugs off because everything was too hot to touch. Ended up slapping my old pads in until I could get a set of calipers. So much fun (not).

Heh, my right rear caliper was replaced last fall. Now my left rear. Should have just done both at the same time. Oh well. Ironically, all four corners and flush were done last March. Now more money on pads and rotors. Yay.
