Bought a set of wiper blades from HandA. Tried to install, but Honda must have changed styles at some point. The ones on the car now have a single piece of metal running down the center of the blade for reinforcement. The new ones look like they are designed to have the typical 2-piece reinforcement running down either side. Can anyone use these things? They are honda OEM (in sealed bags). Would love to trade someone for a set to fit the AP2.

I suppose I could try to find the metal pieces to fit but that sounds like more trouble than it's worth.

Same here. Once in a while I do put some shin-istu grease on them. Hell I even still have the original fluid probably. I never really topped it off.

 

I run the HandA replacements described by the OP. It's worth your time, effort, and little amount of cash for one of you AP1 guys to replace.

 

This sounds like an idea for a new badge......

Replaced mine last season after 1 of the wipers developed a rip.

 

I replace mine every year because im one of those people where if anything clouds my vision i hate it. And if by chance if i get caught in the rain I want to be able to see clearly!

 

I replaced with these from Burtman, they work great.
