Wireless mouse
I have a Logitech wireless mouse for my PC. I dropped it on the floor, now it only works intermittently.
Is it toast? For the heck of it, I put in fresh batteries, hit the reset button, but it still only works when it wants to. Forgive me if this is a question only a Vintage would ask, but is it possible might help it help to uninstall it and re-install it? Connections are good.
I have the same wireless mouse at work and it has survived many trips to the floor...

Sounds like something is loose inside. You could always try taking it apart and inspecting it for something loose or broken. You might get lucky and find a broken solder joint. Or even better, you take it apart and when you put it back together it magically works.
^ you answered your own question install reinstall and fresh batteries. I
its messed up though.
Is this a wireless mouse with a ball in it or an optical one? If you dont know what optical is turn it over does it show light or does it have a rubber ball in the bottom?

Optical and the green light is on. I got nothing on my plate tonight...I can try a re-install. Bad things might really happen if I try to take anything apart.
PS. the Scroll wheel works, it's the "clicking" that's not always working. Oh..left clicking..right works.
