Default Wont Start!

I took the S to the office today. First time out this year. It started fine this morning and got in with no issues. Tried to start it to run out for coffee this afternoon and wont start. It turns over fine but thats it. Any advice on what to try?

I had that happen once and it just cranked and cranked without starting. After giving up, I took the key out, did something else, then put it back in and it started right up. My thought was that the either the security system or the key transmitter messed up somehow. It only did it once though and now I have a Mugen ECU with no security at all, and I've never had it do it again.

spark or gas are the two main reasons a car wont start

when you put in the key does the green light on the dash stop blinking if so the ecu is gettuing the correct signal from the transponder

might be a long shot but disconnect the battery to try to reboot the transponder

I didnt notice the green light blinking or not so I would guess it does stop blinking. I will look closer next try. I dont have the ability to check the plugs, but it started up immediately this morning and ran fine all the way in.

oh the phone with cubby right now

you might need a new battery - did you try to start it by jumping it? might not be enough in your oem battery to power the fuel pump etc etc

Mike, I hope it's nothing serious. I just took my S out today for the first time since December. Now I'm gonna be worried about it starting when I leave work.

Yea....how old is that battery?

How old was the gas in the tank?

Did you cycle the alarm on and off?

I'd try a jump.

Its the original battery... I just came in from a jump, didnt work, but it did crank a bit harder.
The gas was from a fill up in early Nov.

I didnt see any blinking green light on the dash...

I am going to get a ride homw from someone... So I will need to come back tonight or tomorrow and try new plugs or something I guess.
