P.S. the people posting replies in this thread prove that there are a ton of lurkers in NeS2ki this should be noted for the sake of the other thread posted here recently regarding the state of the forum.

I'm 7 days shy of 9 years. Haven't been to a S2KI event in 5 years but I'm still driving my 2001 Spa Yellow coming up on 112,000 near faultless miles.

Now I feel really old.

I also have to confess... I might be getting rid of my S in the next couple of weeks. Thinking about an M3.

The fact that they're now out of production has made me consider getting rid of mine too. Maybe this should be a separate thread...

Yet, the S has proven itself as the best car for me for many years now. I am certain I would be disappointed with a new car in one way or another (cost, maintenance, exclusivity, community, roadster nature, etc..)

Since passing 100K miles, I'm still convinced of that. There isn't another car out there that suits me better.

I'll probably keep mine until the wheels fall off. It's a Honda. I just wish they'd continued the breed; I hope I don't get frustrated trying to maintain the car down the road as parts dry up.
