Default WTD 09 Plans

Please only post if you are going:

I'm going to be putting in for the time off first thing in the moring. As of right now unless we figure something else out I would like to go:

VA on wednesday
Hooters/Fontana thursday
Fontana friday
Fontana saturday
Pshyco run all the way back sunday
Rest on monday

Times and all that are not really a factor right now, my biggest question is do we want to get a 3 bedroom NE cottage for friday and saturday night. I'll go and volunteer myself to crash on the couch or makeshift bed if need be. We could all save a bit of money this way. They are 211.65 for a night. As far as i know the roster is going to be Jeff, Mike, Mark and Myself. POSSIBLY Glen If we do get us four into a cottage it would be 106 a piece total for both nights.

Lets talk serious cause its first come first serve. I know i'm going 100% and can put money down today to hold the rooms. My question to you guys is where do you stand? do you want to go this route or fend for ourselfs?

Matt, I'm not 100% sure I am going, I am going to wait until the very
last minute to register based on the weather, current snow cover, etc.

There is also a chance I might bring my son so we would probably get
our own room in the hotel section.

I'm so tempted to go to this, but I'm not sure I can manage this trip and the vintage meet I've committed to this year.

God no. VA isn't that far away... probably right before lunch. I'll probably tape up my car wednesday night and get a good night sleep.

I know... tough choices. I wonder if one set of new rear tires will last through both events.

I would stay away from the $200 a night cabin. The $200 cabin has 2 bedrooms and the $500 one has 4 bedrooms. Makes you wonder why the 4 bedrooms is so much more? That's because the $200 ones are older, less maintained than the expensive ones.

See my post on the "Dragon Forum".

[quote name='S~Factor' date='Apr 22 2008, 06:18 PM']Well, since we are doing feedback, here's mine.

Our 2 bedroom cabin had musty smell to it. It was very strong when we first opened the door. I had to run all 3 ceiling fans on every room to circulate the air and get rid of some of the smell.

I'm hitting up the 2 bedroom hotel spot I did last year with Sarah. Best deal and they were pretty nice!
