I just realized loading 2 baskets into the car -- two baskets are not going to FIT in the S this summer or not sure which to do right now!
but women should wear a LOT less clothes in the summer so you should be ok!!

I still got sheets and towels... that's one basket all by itself. So even skimpy clothes may be an issue of extra baskets... and -- you knew this was coming -- you have to wear long pants at the track

I may have to drive my Civic once a week just to do laundry. Not sure I want my S parked anywhere near the laundromat when I can not see it every single minute

I don't know Lainey, that just might make me feel a little "trashy"

Use the trash bags or duffles.. One in the trunk, and one in the passenger seat.
Hey, I Connie and I made it to Nova Scotia for 8 days in the S with a trunk full of clothing in several duffle bags you can make it to the Laudramat.

You make that sound like a bad thing?

Actually, one vintage couple uses trash bags as "garment bags." They put a small suitcase or two in the trunk of the S, and what clothing they don't want to get wrinkled, they put in trash bags and lay it over the top. Gotta get creative when driving an S.

Ellen, if trash bags are too trashy, buy some of those white laundry bags with a draw string top. You put the dirty clothes in them, then wash the bags with the laundry, so you're not putting clean laundry in a bag that just had dirty laundry in it.

Oh and Bass, TMI on the sheet issue.

I have used garbage bags to cover clean clothes before and maybe for packing I would think about it also.

Definitely have to be creative packing the S. Of course I WILL have more room this year But 1/2 the time I pack it I also have a large helmet to fit in too...
