I thought you had a hydraulic splitter-ma-bob. What help do you need? Picking up the wood after the splitter splits it?

Yes sir - i do have one of those splitting thingamabobs and it's at erick's

erick developed the most efficient way ever to cut / split / stack

for cutting (all done) - i'd walk over and grab a log and toss it on his saw buck - he'd cut it up and toss the rounds into a BIG pile..

once done with the cutting

i'd grab the rounds and lift them on the splitter and split them (most times 6 pieces from each round) and then hand them to erick and he'd stack

so it would be easier if two guys handed me the rounds - i'd split - then hand them to two guys to stack

many hands make small work and you can tell all your friends you're a lumber jack

NO I'm a chain saw man. I cut trees with a chain saw. That is all. If need be, I'll push the button on the thing-a-ma-bob to split the wood.

Yeah, I thought this meet was happening today. Vintage moment I guess. I'm going to try and go fishing tomorrow. One last trip for the season. If the weather turns, I'll be there.
