could you do me a HUGE favor today if you and erin are headed to Julis' house?
i found the indian store BUT they did not have the proper spice mix and i think i bought the wrong thing
any chance you could pick me up a few of those Tikka marsala packs????

let me know how the stuff turns out. alicia and I love indian food. I can get takeout a mile from my house but it gets expensive. I've tried the prepackaged complete stuff but it's usually terrible, i had a little better luck with the sauce in a jar, and once made my own vindaloo from scratch (individual spices and all), i think i'm looking for something in between. premixed spices (cheap and last long) add your own cream, tomato product etc.

The stuff Jeff gave me was like a paste - i put it in / under the skin in the morning and then i roated the bird at 425 for 20 minutes per side (brushed with melted butter to get a crisp skin) and during the last 20 minutes i added more paste
