what's up with that

 

Hey, Buddy.

We're on vacation, and Rick's got me working I just had my lunch break.

He's detailing my Mom's car. I primed the basement bulkhead and the trim on the garden shed, and I was biatching the whole time.

Every time I pick up a paintbrush, I realize why we usually pay someone to do our painting. We both HATE it!

It was my idea that we get a few things done this week, now I'm thinking.......what the heck was I thinking!???

One more day of yard/house projects, then I quit. I'm way too prissy to spend time doing this kind of stuff.

I think that's the longest he ever took to detail a Nissan Sentra. I think he wanted to make sure the painting was done.

I finished painting, then I mowed the lawn. I get the good wife award today. BUT, he gets good husband award as after the detailing of Mom's car he had to dig up covers for the septic tank for routine maintenance.

Tomorrow we share the painting duties, then we can goof off after that, but damn it's COLD out for September.

 

Was only 44 yesterday morning here in Vermont about 7am (when I leave for work)... if I'd known how cold it was I might have worn a jacket!
