Is your wireless connection secure?
Thanks. It's now on the "To do" list.
Most commonly routers have the IP address of:
192.168.0.1
192.168.0.254
192.168.1.1
192.168.1.254
You can open internet explorer, clear out the URL that shows up in the address field. Then punch each of those into the Address field (one at a time)
If it is the right IP address, it will prompt you for credentials.
Typically the default ID see Admin or administrator and the word "password" for the pw.

Little close to home for a friend of mine! I just went and re-did the security of his wireless network on Saturday... Neighbor kids were doing stuff they should have been, parent's caught them, and let me friend know... Some of the stuff they were doing is deff. FBI territory
... I told him to get a letter from his neighbor notarized explaining the situation just in case! New encryption (he did use WEP) now using WPA2 w/AES and MAC address filtering)
