Default Contemplating a return to the S2K...

Well, I'm thinking about getting another S2000... looking around at the market right now to see what's available. Will definitely be going forced induction on whatever I decide to pick-up. I don't owe near what the EVO is worth, so I should have some money left over to go big with whatever I get... let me know if you see anything worth looking at or that's turbo already (not in the for sale section... I'm already looking into those)

I would probably prefer either silver or white... if white, it's gotta be an 01 or 03 and up... I hate the tan interior but love the red/black. Even the all red would be ok if the rest of the car was worth it... Since I'm planning on either turbo or supercharging anyhow, I'm not putting the 2.2L out of the question.... the extra size will help with torque after going FI which is the only downside of the S2000 with FI... you'll never see a Honda motor put out more torque than HP like my EVO...

Edit: unless Jerry want's to sell me his car without the Volk's and without the stereo... I would consider that move... haha

I think I saw Randy's on Auto Trader actually... can't tell from the pics but does he have the glass rear window on the convertable?? Also, how about the car... abused, raced... etc.?? Give me the lowdown on the car from someone who isn't the owner... I also found a 2004 Sebring in Rio Rancho with 32k miles... need to see some pics from the person though.

But if you're still looking to sell it Jerry... I'm down ... haha

Hmmm... it's tempting actually. On one hand I can probably get that car for around 17K and have a good chunk of change to sink into it, on the other hand, your car is cherry and the mileage is phenominal. I'll have to see what sort of limitations I can actually pull for a loan on either car and figure it out from there. Plus if you want to buy my EVO, it's already off to a good start and it's definitely well cared for and unique with the front end swap. Give me a buzz sometime tomorrow and we can discuss...

The way it is out the door... I would like to get $28,000 obo for it. It's got 11,000 miles, been tastefully modified, the body is perfect and it's the only EVO 8 in the state with the 9 front end conversion. Plus it puts out a rediculous amount of power for the stock turbo while maintaing a safe tune. Once the EVO X goes on sale, the prices on the 8's and 9's are going to go through the roof and I can't find a 2005 with less mileage than mine for sale anywhere in the region. Anything that's a 2005 at a dealership is going for over $28k with more mileage, so I don't think it's an unreasonable number... who knows? I would take any reasonable offer around there if someone want's to make one...haha
