Finally Arrived...
Hey guys and gals...
My S2000 finally made it Japan. I miss the meets, track days and fellow S2000 owners of New Mexico and El Paso region, but this is the start of a new chapter. The S2000 is quite rare around Japan, especially in the north where I live. I have seen 4 total the month and a half that I have been living here. 2 of those were type Ss owned by older folks. (Type S is somewhere between the standard S2k and CR) The S2000s resale prices here are more than what I paid for mine new. Most used AP2s sell between 27-52,000 USD. There are virtually no Honda enthusiasts around here, everyone seems to like VIP or drift, but I am happy to represent the S2k from USA. A new grip circuit just opened locally as well. Otherwise there were only drift/kart tracks until now.
It is going to be awhile before I can drive it, It has to get JCI inspected and then be driven/towed to Tokyo for emissions testing. As soon as I get through the inspections I can put my aftermarket parts back on.

It sounds far off but I am thinking late Spring or Summer of next year. We may be storing the car until Spring to avoid re JCIing it our last year here right before we leave. We are still trying to decide.
On a lighter note I bought a new exhaust tonight. I got a cherry looking Spoon N1 for 299.00. I am pretty excited to get it next week. I couldn't resist at that price. Thank you up garage!!!
