Default hey jerry and everyone else.

what do u think about phil's idea for the maybe last meet of the year?

"just a proposal - which we have kicked around before: take I-25 to SF; 84/285 towards Pojoaque; and then 4, which curves around through Jemez Springs. Lunch at Los Ojos. Continue on 4 towards San Yisidro and return to ABQ on 555 to I-25 (or Unser for us west siders). Pros: Some nice curves and great views. The sun will be behind us most of the way. We'll be going against the flow of traffic. Daylight savings time ends, so we'll gain an extra hour of sleep on Sunday. Cons: Weather could be a show stopper. Los Ojos can be packed on weekends. Time. What does everyone think of this idea?"

Anyway - Hopefully we can get one more in. This may be the last good weekend coming up for awhile. Plus - we get an extra hour on Sunday.

There is no way I'd miss this run.(meet) Let's leave at 9 or 10 so we can have a normal lunch time. Let's go from Tramway and Central up to 14, take the 599 bypass to pojoaque and stop around 12 for lunch at Ojos. That'll get us back to Abq in time to see what happens with the Nascar race.

Only question I'd have is does anyone know the po po info between LA and San Isidro?

Phil, Jason- If it's just ya'll, I'd still like to go... Rusty

some of the things to look forward to on this route: the Valles Caldera - possibly seeing elk and deer; the jemez river with hot springs (heads up: clothing sometimes optional) ; Los Ojos; Ponderosa Winery; scenery, etc.
