Missing my S2k
Hello from Okinawa! It's only been two months since I last seen/drove my car and I'm already on the verge of tears... lol! But Oki is awsome, my first day here I met some of the local tuners and got a ride in a 300hp Nissan 180 while they went up to the mountains to do some touge driving. That is some scary stuff. Picture tokyo drift but instead of drift its hauling ass through about 25 miles of sandia with a tropical forest canopy enclosing the road. Oh yeah and it was dark! So anyways, they do have a type of autocross here which they call gymkana (spelling) so I'll stick with that. Much safer for me and the car. I ended up getting a 1997 Mitsibishi Lancer Evo IV Ralli Art edition which is extremely fun, but always gets me wanting more S handling which will be my first project. After that it will be all about getting S parts and sending them home. Yippee!
Looks like you guys are getting some new members and now that I leave talking about actually doing an S track day
but I think that is a great idea and you all should do it. Even if you don't go hard as you can it is quite the experience just to be on a track.
Hello again and here's my facebook page if you guys want to friend me up that would be great.

Wow sounds like fun Troy! You should've told us we could've put on a last meet for you! Get a RHD VGS s2k!!!! Man you should have fun out there take some pics and get your hands on an r32 or r33 skyline!
Glad you are enjoying it over there. That is one place I would not mind being stationed at. I have heard great things about the place.
I new a friend over there that had a Skyline. He loved it, but could not find a way to bring it back.

Great to hear from you Troy! I'm glad that you are enjoying Oki. Besides the awsome cars, great food and Sapporo - it is also a mecca for electronic goodies. Again, be careful on BC street (may be off-limits now?) and don't touch any blue octopuses. Please keep us posted.
