35% is the most you can do its the legal limit. Anything lower is illegal so tint at your own risk. and most cops wont pull you over for it but can use it against you if they want (if anything drop the top or put down the windows)

ya like i said im doing 10%

hmm well differnet states have different laws, i got it big time in Phoenix when i lived there, at the time i had limo tint on my accord and it was like 3% for reals and plus i also had a privacy tint on top of that so you can imagine. I remeber we used to cruise mill avenue drinking beer right next to cops. But you should look into it, any tint shop should be able to do tell you the legal stuff, Im not to sure what the legal % is here since I got mine done in El Paso (Ruidoso cops aren't strict on tint) for cheap and the work is grade A, the tint is great too. I am planning on taking my accord to them and having it redone.

luckily it seems NM is pretty lax on the tints. i guess with the heat and bright sun, it makes sense. i never even bothered putting them on in NY cuz cops pulled people over left and right for tints.

some people here told me there was a cop who was NOTORIOUS for ticketing for tints, pulling people over all day long. but either he retired or quit or something because everyone says he's not around anymore. phew!

hey louie, what was the tint shop in el paso? maybe i'll check them out. everyone here on base recommends oscar's tint shop. any opinions or experience with that shop?
