Default Cad Viewer Program ?

I know nothing about cad ... but does anyone have a cad viewer program (something better than cad lite) that I can borrow ? I am trying to play with a map and it apparently is a cad type of map ...

Thanks.

If you only need to view a couple of dwgs you can pm me (I'll send my e-mail, send me the files..I'll pdf them back to you). I assume you're talking about AutoCad .dwg files.

PS: Unless there are only a few colors (pen weights) we'll need the ctb files for plotting if you need to plot the map. If not, viewing would probably be managable (heavy lines bleed togehter).

thanks all ... there is a wesite excellent map of all the streets in Mazatlan, Mexico. It is the best map that I have seen anywhere. Unfortunately I can not download and save it to my computer, so it is only available when I am on line ...

I was hoping that a cad program might enable me to save it in some fashion on my hard drive.

To see the map you go to this link:

http://www.mazatlan.gob.mx/

(the site seems to be down right now)

then to the lower right side of the page and click on the link to the very slow loading map of mazatlan (Mapa Mazatl

I'm confused why a map would need to be viewed in a .dwg or .dxf file but if you want me to bring the software tonight just give me a shout.
