Default Glass Help!

hey guys how much does a new windshield cost...and wheres the best place to buy one/get one installed. I was driving on northern pkwy today and a stone hit me now i have a windshield ding the size of a friggin quarter!!! at least its on the passenger side...I do have glass coverage but i was told by my insurance agent that i cant really claim it because it counts as a claim and my mother just totalled her car last month. That was a 15k claim...o well any help would be appreciated...should I fill it with the resin first? have like safelite or someone do that for 50 bucks? the only thing is that its HUGE and will probably get bigger quickly.

thanks

It's no fault so file the claim. Try having it filled, or at least looked at to see if it's a canidate. IF you wind up getting a new windshield, DON'T get a Honda glass. They sandblast and pit very easily. A company called PPG (thanks Defender) makes a better glass.

Not sure about a price, a little searching under "windshield" should do it

The company name should be "PPG"

Your insurance agent is an A-S-S. That's what glass coverage is for.

You should see my windshield, that thing looks like it went through a war and it hasn't been a year yet. I have about 5 or 6 decent sized dents/craters. You insurance should cover it at no cost.

FYI, a new glass from Honda costs 300+.
