I'm not really sure to be honest. I have never used an AP1 shift knob that I can remember. I think Titanium and aluminum have similar qualities in regards to how they heat up/cool down. I believe Titanium cools down quicker but I am not really sure on that.

Why thank you haha.

Tried burning one today with not much luck so definitely not going to offer them in a burnt finish.
Hoping I can use anodizing to give it a similar look.

Decided to change it and go with a burnt titanium finish.
