Default Need Help.

Whats up fellow S2k owners. I have a major problem. I have an air leak and my S is not passing NYS inspec. I need to get one. Any ideas? It wont pass, so i need to go somewhere where it would "pass".

an air leak? sounds like you have a cel related othe secondary air pump system. p0411 seems to be the most common one - generally caused by a white check valve that's installed backwards.. do you have an aftermarket intake?

pull the code and let us know what it is, and we can help you further.

If you are going to replace it, replace it with an AP2 pump. The AP2 pump has metal propeller blades, while the AP1 is plastic, which is what causes them to fail. Billman can probably help you out with it.

While it's not a guarantee that it's seized, 9 times out of 10, it is.

I just noticed you have an AP2....I would check the airpump hoses first. What mods do you have on your car?
