speeding ticket
i got a speeding ticket today while i was driving my friends miata back to his house. the officer gave me a 50 in a 30 but idk cuse i was babying the car cuse its messed up and i had never driven it before. if anynone can help me out with this ticket it would be more appreciated than you can imagine. the ticket was given in putnam county,kent.

1st Plead not guilty.
2nd did you get a written deposition? If not ask for one by checking the box requesting one when you send the ticket back in with your Not Guilty plea.
3rd Send ticket and request back to court "certified return recipt requested" at the local Post office.
4th week before your trial call Asst. District Atty and cut a deal for "Failure to obey a traffic device"
5th Pay that fine and buy a V1

Valentine 1 is a great tool, however, one still needs to know the principles behind police radar / laser and when/how they are used. It also helps to know the terrain you're driving on and know of potential hiding spots for police.

Good luck with the DA's office. Sometimes you get a rookie clerk and sometimes you get the DA. Sometimes prosicution is handled by the trooper, in which case deal will only be cut at courthouse on date of trial. All depends on County the ticket was issued in.

It was tested in VT in your back yard. You of all owners need it the most. With your pop out from behind the tree troopers armed with hand held laser guns. It requires professional installation.
