lol this was the problem it was actually the the defroster plug and the top plug. I pulled it apart again unplugged everything then realized. still couldn't find that hardtop safety switch? still curios to figure out where that is. Ah see, i'm smarter than i look. Glad you got it figured out. You'll only have the hard top cutout swith if the car ever had a hart top, otherwise it's not there

ok more than likely was no hard top on the car then because I couldn't find anything. Thanks again
