lol this was the problem it was actually the the defroster plug and the top plug. I pulled it apart again unplugged everything then realized. still couldn't find that hardtop safety switch? still curios to figure out where that is. Anyway thanks guys for the help trying to figure this out. Much appreciated

Ah see, i'm smarter than i look. Glad you got it figured out. You'll only have the hard top cutout swith if the car ever had a hart top, otherwise it's not there

ok more than likely was no hard top on the car then because I couldn't find anything. Thanks again
