The hardest part is to get started, but once I get moving, I keep going. If I have 15 minutes, I'll try to do something if I have any energy. My kids call me the mule.

Anyone around Rochester that could possibly check out a car for me? PM if so.

I'm in Buffalo, so a bit far, but I do know at least one owner in Rochester that might be able to take a look.

The electrical gremlins have taken up residence in the Volvo, along with the spiders. I seem to have a short associated with my headlights, as well as a poor connection at the fuse terminal on that circuit. After much trial and error, and about 10 blown fuses, I think I have isolated the short to my dashboard rheostat - or at least the wire leading there. This makes some sense since I did do a lot of work under the dash last winter.

My tail lights are out, but signal and brake lights work. Have to sort that out and I'm hoping it is just dirty connections.

My 544 had headlight switch issues but that was so long ago that is all I remember. Cleaning a headlight switch with contact cleaner has helped me get an old switch working properly. Maybe it could help you but probably not with a short. Check your grounds for the tail lights, they always trouble me in the older cars.. A trouble light with a good ground then to the hot wire in the socket with the probe.
Just took the cover off my Mazda. Four years of use and it is about shot. The material has gotten brittle and has cracks.

Picked up another s2000 yesterday. This one marks #16. This is the very first AP2V2 I’ve been able to get my hands on, a 2007!

Congratulations jsenclosures!

Also thanks for doing some great work to my car this past Sunday. Haven’t had a problem since.
-got the serpentine belt replaced
-TCT replaced
-VTEC solenoid gaskets replaced
-spark plugs and coil packs inspected.
-diagnosed some issues with my soft top

Definitely a great recommendation. Looking forward to doing a valve adjustment soon, as well as changing out those cracked coils packs.

I think they did a great job with the C8. Doesn’t seem to have an MT option yet but looks like great bang for the buck

I wonder if it'll get the full convertible treatment or just the targa top?
