Only took me till July, but I finally gave the S its first proper bath of the year.

 

Had a C8 Z06 next to me on the drive in to work this morning. It sounded absolutely heavenly, and isn't helping my irrational urge to own one.

I pulled up next to him at a red light, rolled down the window and gave him a thumbs-up and said it sounded great!

Absolutely stone faced. I guess mighty Corvette Z06 owners are above the opinions of silly boy racers in cars with giant wings on the back. Oh well.

 

Maybe he stole it! Just kidding but yeah I hate that when you enthusiastically wave or comment on someone’s car and they just ignore you. There is a guy in a town near me with a S and I have seen him a few times and waved and he just ignores me.

Anyone have any experience ordering from Vivid Racing? They have a part on clearance sale for the Type R I've been lusting after, and the price is the best I've ever seen. Too good to be true, or pounce on the deal before it is gone?
