hmm....the car has not been since last year. It needs a coat of wax on it now. Maybe I'll stick with Meguiars for now on the S.
Good, you saw my 1st note.
To give you an idea, my car took 1 entire 3-day weekend to get the 1st complete coat on.

NO!
You need to go talk about this on the wash and wax forum, or read their site over in detail.
I don't think you get the scope of work involved.
This stuff is not a wax, you can't just buy a part of the process and put it on your car.
You must completely strip your car down to the clearcoat and start from the very begining.

The most basic of stuff would be, anything less than this would mean the coating will not stick to your car and you will not have a complete coating.

Thanks for the cautionary tone. I'll get around to it and will research it for sure

The damnn stuff just costs soooo much money I would hate to have ya put it on, and have all of it just fall off!!!

Zaino is a bit like body work, the quality of the final paint job has more to do with the prep work than the paint job itself. If the car is not prepped properly, the Zaino will never be like it should be.

If you want to do it right yes, because you should take the time to buff out the scratches if you are going to the trouble to completely strip off the old wax and clay coat every square inch of the car.

I absolutely endorse the prep and 1st application as part of a weekend stay, with someone who has Zaino experience. I went to Toronto, both Marco and Simon helped me do My Spa.

If possible I'd like to do that before Knapp. Seeing how I'll be the only Laguna this year too

BTW, sent Keeler an e-mail asking if they have S2000 promo material they wanna get rid off. I've really been wanting to get my hands on some of the post cards and rare brochures. Included in the e-mail is a suggestion to have a CR-Z and Mini Cooper on hand for test drives and comparisons as and when they decide to do something for us.
