Default Improper Fitment

Don't know about the rest of you, but I really hate the improper fitment trend that has taken over the tuning scene in 2009-10.

I just can't understand why people think its cool to have stretched tires and wheels that are entirely too big for the car.

They don't fit, they don't look good, they aren't safe, and they don't perform well.

slammed cars look good but why take a car that handles so well out of the box and put stretched tires on it and everything else???

To each his own but if that's what you want start wit hsomething less than an almost perfect handling car.

That's one of the reasons I looked for a '06-'07... I like the AP2V2's a lot and didn't want to be tempted to put something else on that would alter the geometry.

Not sure why this was moved to off-topic.

This thread has more relevance than a variety of random posts that are on the first page of Metro NYC

Guess threads about sneaker whores and fish tanks are more on topic???
