i think its perfectly fine. he went to jail, went bankrupt, lost all his endorsements, and then paid his debt to society. and now he's trying to make an honest living. i see nothing wrong in that.

Why not be more pissed off that dante stallworth can kill a man and only get 30 days in jail?... shit i know people love their animals/dogs but id consider a human life more important.

^ thx.

and its not like Vick is "back". he still has a far way to go. and its not like he'll have well paying endorsements anytime soon.

If he was just another guy u wouldnt care if he was allowed to get a job right? this is the same thing. hes being allowed to go back to work. so he can contribute to society in a good way and pay his debts back.

I dont agree with that shit either. I can understand why somebody would wanna kill a person purposely though... an animal because it didnt perform to your expectation is total bullshit. And the rediculous paycheck he recieves being a nfl player is FAR from an honest living. My friends has a bullshit charge that prevents from getting a job at shoprite.... He should be forced to work in a fukin animal shelter

and he never will contribute in agood way. Dog fighting is abusing animals no differnet if he tore them up himself like kid who is a soon to be serial killer. yeah let him have a job. but not what he ever had.

Usually I just lurk around the forums but I gotta post on this haha. I'm a huge dog lover myself, have had several dogs since I've been a kid but "understanding" why somebody would kill another human does not make it more justifiable or right to kill a human over a dog. It doesn't make killing a dog worse than killing a human.

Now to your comment that being a NFL football player isn't an honest living is ridiculous. Its not like he is a drug dealer, con man, bernie madoff or doing a host of other illegal things to gain money. Players and coaches have no lives during the NFL season and most if not all players work out everyday in the off season to keep in shape for the next one. NFL contracts are some of the worst, if you don't have guarenteed money and they cut you, or you get injured, you contract is done and you don't get another dime. Not to mention if you do have a career of length your life expectancy is significantly lower than somebody who has not played football due to years of contact and collisions. Many end up having varying conditions with altered mental status (alzheimers, dementia etc.)

He has paid his debt to society in my view and should be allowed to play. He actually seems like he is a changed person. There are many other people who continue down the same path they always have. I hope he really has changed and that he can bring awareness and try to stop/prevent dog fighting.

i was reading this week's sports illustrated and the female pitbull that was on the cover of SI back when this first happened was adopted by a lady who retrained her to be a normal dog again and recently hit by a car and died.

47 of the 51 dogs were saved. the other 4 were too aggressive and had to be put down.
