As stated in the article this is a silhouette racer for GT500 in Japan. The blue wrapped one seen at Mid-Ohio is a HPD mule and is actually based off of what will be the real car. Look for a longitudinally mounted twin turbo V6 (expect it to have a generator/motor that keeps one of the turbos spooled for zero lag), 7 speed DCT with integrated electric motor, and a hub motor on each front wheel for a total system output of around ~575HP.

 

I wonder what block that 2.0T is. could be a F20c. Honda may something up there sleeve
