i really wanted to go to jfk to watch the touch down of the 747 but couldn't make it =( i regret it now i should have called everything off to go watch it!

but i kinda got lucky enough i happen to catch it fly over queens for like 10 seconds.

 

I really do miss Nasa doing it's thing. Times are tough and I hope we can somehow start funding again.

 

We all climbed out on the ledge of my office building to take pictures.. 22nd floor haha
It looked like there was a smaller fighter jet escorting it for a little while.

Drove my dad to JFK for his trip to the motherland of Sweden . Saw the shuttle parked (still on top of the 747) in an open hangar. Pretty cool to see!

 

i live literally 1 min from jfk and i missed all this :-(
