I took a drive up yesterday cause I heard Vettel was going to be in the area doing laps of the track. Didn't really know what to expect. I was driving around on the streets (which they didn't fully close) and I was stopped at a dead/end intersection area looking for a place to park. To my left I saw a dark blue G37 stopped talking to a police officer. I assumed it was someone asking for directions until I looked inside and saw 2 guys wearing helmets. Looked closer at the driver and realized it was Sebastian Vettel I yelled out HEY SEBASTIAN and he looked over at me and threw me a wave, was pretty awesome.

For the actual event, they had 2 G37's.. Vettel drove one, DC (lol) in the other and 2 srt-8 cop cars, one in the front and one in the back driving around on the streets. They were probably doing like 60 mph on the roads with spotters set up everywhere. I thought it was pretty funny that they didn't really close much of the streets, besides a few stretches of road. Afterwards DC and Vettel did a few donuts and had a mini press conference at the waterfront (Port Imperial with probably about 100 people). Also got to meet Lee McKenzie if anyone is familiar with her and got a few pics with her as well. Vettel of course was mobbed by all the journalists and fans, so I didn't get a pic with him

 

wish i knew about this. that must have been awesome to watch. i cant say i know who Lee McKenzie is. post a pix =)
