*nix sysadmin wanted
If you are a *nix sysadmin guru and I can trust you to be my hero then send me your resume ASAP. High volume web serving, financial processing systems, postgres, mysql, oracle, apache, snmp, ssh, blah blah blah, moderate programming ability (assumed if you're the guru you say you are). This is a full time job with benefits in Mountain View CA, no contractors.
I know someone out there wants this job and can be all that we need. Please, please please please! don't call yourself a guru if you've only worked for a couple of failed .coms that had pre-canned server infrastructures. I need a REAL hero here. You need to be able to learn 20 months of other people's work in a matter of days. We need to see serious system performance upgrades and stability. Keep the fort secure, improve the way things are done. MAKE LIFE HAPPY. Don't crack under the pressure.
