lupin,

No I don't own one. I asked to be a Moderator when cthree was first opening the site after the Honda-Acura.net disaster. I was a Mod. over there too so I had some experience, and he signed me up. I didn't spend much time on H-A.net after that, while there were a lot of battles going on...

My Moderatorship was removed a while ago. Not sure when. Probably just because I didn't show up for like six months.
*shrug*

loki,

Nice "Cogito Ergo Zoom" quote, there. From Automobile or R&T or one of those...

I tell you what, if you're lucky enough to even be able to test drive both, then you've got more insight than most of us!

The Bimmer is gorgeous--I've seen quite a few of them now, including a coupe AND convertible after hours at Dreher-Holloway BMW in Exeter, NH--but I really like the looks of Mercedes' newer cars. Years ago, I hated them, but I like them now.

Nice wheels, nice faces.......mm. Yummy!

Go all out!!! Get the M3 Cabrio!!! Too bad Chevy won't make the 02 Z06 with 405 bhp in a drop top! For the money there's little out there that can touch the Z06. And, you can find one for MSRP. Something I hear is very difficult for an M3. My local dealer has a deposit on two years worth of allocations. Actually when the new Z3 (not the current car with new M engine) comes out with the this engine it'll be quite a roadster for under $50k.
