Default 1:18 Car question

I recently have been getting more into 1:18 cars. i know some of them go up in value, and some dont. I now have a batch of 4 new ones and want to know if i should keep the cars in the original box, or enjoy them on a shelf. I am interested in keeping their value, but would obviously rather open the boxes.

The cars are:
Hot Wheels Elite F Superamerica
Motorbox P 959
AutoArt S2000 (RHD)
Cars Pagani Zonda

thanks Dave

they are always worth more in the box, but even open ones can go up in value.

I collect Star Wars toys myself, and I open them.

One of the members BBY2KS2K has a pretty big collection and could tell you more. Also check out his sig for a great "police chase" thread!

Most model cars won't go up in value unless they are really rare. I say take them out of the box and enjoy them, just save the box and if you ever want to sell them just put them back in
