Default 1/4 mile of new Mustangs.

Anyone know the 1/4 mile time of the new mustang GT's?

How about the ones with the silver gas cap...do they have a faster 1/4 mile?

High 13s - Low 14s stock for the GT. The one with the metal gas cap cover is the Bullitt Mustang, they've only got 5 more hp than a GT so they should be about the same. The Bullitt does have more mid-range torque so it may go a couple tenths quicker.

I've personally seen the new Mustang GTs running mid 14s to high 14s.

I believe the new Bullit Mustang has 270hp compared to the 260hp version of the GT.

go to supercars.net.

Depends on the driver and conditions...I have seen the new Mustangs run 13.30's all the way to low 15's...I would say with any car it is 90% driver and 10% car...

I have a 95 Mustang that will do around 11.20's in the 1/4 mile on drag radials, but needless to say my Mustang is not stock!...Should be well into the 10's with slicks...Watch which Mustangs you pull up to at a redlight because some of them might turn out to be pretty quick!

Bullitt runs a 14.1 stock. and from 50 mph on an S2000 will eat one up. (well maybe not "eat one up" but beat it pretty good anyways). the 14.1 was posted by Mustang and Fast 5.0 magazine. the 50 mph on was posted by me.

I'd say more like from 100mph that statement would have some truth to it. From 50 - 100 it's whoever hits those shifts better with the small edge going to the mustang in pull.

from 50 -120 it was not even really close. I think I could have missed a shift and still beat him fairly comfortably. And yes, he was trying
