Well, I am going to Dallas, TX from Santa Fe, New Mexico..about 12 hours road trip?

Any advice on what i need? This is my first road trip:

So far: My Plan
Leave On Friday about 6pm - do about 5 hours drive - stay in motel
Leave On Friday about early - 6am - 5am - dirve until i get to dallas
Stay Saturday Night - Motel
Leave On Sunday Early - 5 hour drive to test drive Mazda RX-7
Then drive back...16 hours drive back to santa fe...****..i don't think i can make it back to monday for job..i might need to take monday off!

 

As for any trip:

Half the clothes, and twice the money.

i go with shit load of great cds, water and more water, candy and i think that the list that you have sums it up have fun...i went on a 8 hour trip with my girlfriend to virginia it was great and we were all sorts of supplied.....its amazing how comfy the s really is....my ass was kinda numb after a while though..only stopped once so she could have a smoke...no smoking in my stook!
