Good lord look at the size of that thing...1.5" in diameter? I can see the emergency room discussion now:
Surgeon 1: "Holy shit, how the do you suppose we're gonna get that thing out without killing this guy?"
Surgeon 2: " it, let's just unscrew it and see what happens. He's toast anyway."
[a few minutes later]
Surgeon 1: "I'll be damned...the lucky SOB is still alive."

Thats crazy how it just pushed his brain aside. The pain must have been horrendous, surprised he lived through that.
