Thumbs up In 180 years...

The longest living creature on Earth is a Galapagos Island sea turtle....

aside from that....everything that was born 175 years ago is dead

isn't it crazy how we're all gonna be dead in 175 years.....

EVERYTHING CURRENTLY LIVING ON THIS PLANET WILL BE DEAD

maybe our grandchildren won't be, etc etc

but everything will be dead.....the world will just move along

and on another note....what would the world have been like if Columbus had never set sail to discover that the world was round

or if the Pope had killed Galileo and his belief that EARTH wasn't the actual center of the universe

isn't it crazy how much technology has changed in the past 50 years

what's gonna happen if we develop telescopes that see beyond our solar sytem and we find something MORE?

and where does space end??

why does everything bug out in the Bermuda Triangle??

what are the black holes in space?? i think they're time portals lol

and the leading scientists and engineers on Earth have yet to develop a metal strong enough to land and withstand the winds on the surface of Jupiter...the WINDS are TOO strong??? like WTF???

i think they're is a life form inside of Jupiter...they're just so advanced that they developed that huge storm on its surface to not let anybody in....that huge red DOT is a "storm"....thats some freakin storm if u ask me

wow i wish i could just talk about this and not be regarded to as some weirdo

like.....why are we all here guys??? and what came before this life??? we have theories about what happens after it....but if u think about it, EVERYONE's theories revolve around a GOD/Gods....which is the correct one???

life just moves on...and it moves on

and check it out....DINOSAURS used to exist.....can u IMAGINE ????

and Pangea used to exist....every major land mass was once connected to each other.

I know i'm not the only person on here that thinks of these things, but it's crazy how life can be so complex and enexplainable sometimes

it moves so fast that we can't stop to think about any of these things

another thing that baffles me is we still haven't been able to reach a STAR in our solar system, they're so far from us that we haven't been able to reach them.....what if each and every star was another galaxy....what if it is and we don't know about it

and it's funny how scientist keep finding "new" planets.....and how we never truly landed on the moon, maybe recently, but not back then

and what the craziest part is that this thread is probably gonna get overlooked, or even laughed at....but in alll actuality, these are things a LOT, if not everybody, thinks about...
things we wished we had the answers for, and wish we could explore one day

I know I'm not the only one out there, i know because there are such things knwon as philosophers out there that ponder about these things just like I do

i talked about these things with my girlfriend last nite and have always thought them in my quest for my destiny

life's short, life's confusing and hard and everything you can imagine

but the craziest part is that we don't, and when i say we i don't mean the government b/c I believe they know a LOT more then what we know, the TRUTH

So you're one of those wackos that think nobody landed on the moon back in the '60's?

here is one: there are currently more people living on the planet right now than have ever lived on the planet before. meaning: take all of the worlds populations form the dawn of time and add them all together and there are more people alive right now than that number.

there is actually some compelling evidence to suggest that.

I absolutely believe that we aren't the only planet in the universe to have life, for those who think not, that's a pretty selfish claim. Think about it, we(humans) were designed to match the climate of this earth, this ecosystem. What about other planets? Yes, some planets in our solar system have temperatures averating -396

Well, while I wouldn't post about those topics in such a fashion as you did. I also do think about these things constantly.

what's gonna happen if we develop telescopes that see beyond our solar sytem and we find something MORE?

and where does space end??

- Space itself like the space in front of you and around all of us is endless. What you were referring to is the Universe, which if all time and space were frozen (since they're synchronous) does have finite borders, yet in the process of time the Universe is continually expanding at a rapid rate and is still speeding up. What happens when it slows down or reverses? Well watch the History channel's "Universe" series for some explanations. The Hubble Telescope already looks into the past Palenkosbro, meaning that it obtains things and by the time it obtains it that specific object it was focused on has already changed due to the time it took to get to the telescope.

what are the black holes in space?? i think they're time portals lol

- Time Portals? Hmm, probably not. Worm holes? Maybe. There's been theory of black holes being connected to white holes and such in parallel Universes, but that's just all theory - think what you want about them. A black hole is the result of a collapsation of a star that has imploded (that was a run-on sentance, sorry grammarians!). Not much other to it than that and the gravitational influxes it causes in the vicinity surrounding it. In relation to the 12-21-2012 thread, the center of the galaxy is supposedly a black hole and through its gravitational pull keeps all the stars and planets and satellites revolving in the order that it does.

None of us or those of who we know living in 150 - 180 years?

-Maybe, maybe not. You missed the thread that was on here a few weeks ago about the Cambridge scholar who believed some humans could live to 1000 years old - de Grey i think it was?

and on another note....what would the world have been like if Columbus had never set sail to discover that the world was round

or if the Pope had killed Galileo and his belief that EARTH wasn't the actual center of the universe

- Someone else would have found the new world instead of Columbus. Also, it was already pretty common knowledge back in the day that the world was spherical in shape and not flat, nor was it the center of the universe. The Church just promoted that the center of the Universe in fear that if they said it was not or became popular knowledge that it was not, that it would thus mean Earth and all of Us were not special or chosen in God's eyes. And that surely could not be promoted by the Church.

Damn, I'm almost late for class man.

In ending, its interesting to think about these things but thing about them in a logical manner and research them from books and reliable internet sources (NOT wikipedia) and you'll get a better understanding of everything you want to know about.

We did land on the moon.
