The battery died a number of times (3-4) while just sitting in the garage. A couple of times we found that we did not shut the front drivers side door all the way. After recharging the battery (trickle charge) everything would be ok for a couple months. It happened again, today to my wife and the dealership towed it away. After further reading of the manual we found that the van is SUPPOSED to shut down all lights after 3minutes if a door is left open. Any ideas...the dealership seems stumped...

Also, the gas pedal sticks. It has gotten worse since we bought it. It is so bad we either have to nail the gas or very very slowly take off there is no in between. The dealership seems stumped on this one too.

Any thoughts or ideas will be greatly appreciated.

 

Hi, I do not know too much about the light problem, but I do know about the accelerator. My friend had the same problem. You had to push it really hard to get any movement out of it. They said some cable had snapped. I"m not sure what that meant though. But it was done under warranty. It's strange that your dealership can't figure it out... Anyways best of luck fixing everything.
