I'm very glad to read above that those images are not going to be it.
I must agree, that side view is so Mazda RX-7 it is not even funny!!!

 

The only info I have seen is from Automoblile magazine. It states that "...Powered by a 3.4-liter i-VTEC V-6 pushing out 350 bhp and 240 lb-ft of torque....". Whos knows what it will end up being. There are so many rumors out there and just as many threads like this speculating. Guess we'll just have to wait a bit.

 

Don't ever believe anything a dealer saya about a new car. They're totally, totally full of CRAPOLA!

I thought somebody photochoped a Porsche and disguise it as NSX. Looks so much like a P-car.

I've seen like, 4 or 5 versions so far...
anyway.....it's got a V8 for sure...

 

This looks more like a marketing gimmick ... Releasing some spyshots, prototypes, concepts and ideas is common work with car manufacturers to test the reaction and ultimately demand for judging on the feasibility on their real project. Nothing to be worrying about as yet, for one we know ... The new NSX-R is certainly the new cream of the crop for many years to come, remember the last NSX Type R was released in 92. It's been a long ... while.
